Synopsis : "Gardens of Eden" follows the different steps of the fabrication of cider and takes us in the depth of traditional Normandy, in the wake of Mériadec and Sylvie, the two emblematic characters of a rural world in complete changing in France. At 21, Mériadec is at the crossroad of his life. He has to choose between pursuing the cider-producing activity started by his grandfather and his desire to leave the country for other adventures. At the opposite, Sylvie, a fifty year old Parisian woman, seeks to be truly a part of her soil of adoption, Le Pays d’Auge. From the top of its manor, she is now reigning on two thousand "high-stems" apple trees whereas she knew nothing about it not long ago. From harvesting of apples to the opening of their first bottle, we are at the side of these two characters to understand their engagement and to share their surprising life.
